MARINE MINIO is a thixotropic substrate of copolymer resins with excellent and long-lasting corrosion protection. Due to its high content of anti-corrosion pure lead oxide, it offers excellent corrosion protection even on surfaces that are in an adverse oxidizing environment, providing complete protection against oxidation. In combination with the special thixotropic resins on the basis of which it is produced, it makes it ideal for the maintenance of iron and wooden surfaces in and out of the sea.
It has great resistance to continuous stay in the water, in contrast to the mini linseed oil. Ideal for wooden boats for protection against rot and wood pests. It works easily and gives smooth surfaces. It has very good adhesion to old paint layers. It shows much better elasticity than the known anti-rust and accepts most surface painting systems.
